Overview
This instrument simulates the pilling or pilling performance of fabrics under wearing and normal use conditions, and can be used for apparel, home textiles and automotive upholstery materials, including woven and knitted fabrics. Test specimens are rated using a pilling rating sight glass, light box or similar box for comparison with standard pilling chart cards. Conforms to standards such as ASTH D 3511

Operation
Connecting the air supply
Connect the air supply to the instrument.
Add distilled water
Connect tube from the freestanding funnel to the water connector located at the back right-hand corner of the SST unit. Add distilled water.
Put in filte
Unscrew the screws and remove the top plate,Take away the reflector.
Put in filter.
Install the xenon lamp
Install the xenon lamp and connect the lamp cabler.Replace the top cover and tighten the set screws.
Mount the sample
Mount the sample on the sample clamp.
BPT Sampling
Place the sample into the test chamber and close the door.Be careful to avoid covering the BPT sensor.
