Electronic Crockmeter Rubbing Dry or Wet Abrasion Rubbing Color Fastness Tester D004N
Overview
UTS-D004N Crockmeter is used to determine colour fastness to wet and dry rubbing. Apart from textiles, also can be applicable for carpets, laminates, and printing inks, as well as the micro-scratch resistance of lacquers, coatings and painted surfaces. Provided with a steel specimen holder and 16mm diameter test finger.
This unit consists of control system and rubbing system. Fix sample on the base pasted with sandpaper via sample holder. Put the rubbing head covered with white cotton cloth onto the sample. After rubbing for several times, inspect the sample against grey scale so as to assess the staining degree of white cotton cloth, and make the judgment for stability of dyeing or surface coating of fabrics, provide the reference data for assessment and choices.
This apparatus apply to yarn, yarn-dyed, dyeing and printing products, such as textiles and toys at all or their internal fabric.

Operation
Connecting the air supply
Connect the air supply to the instrument.
Add distilled water
Connect tube from the freestanding funnel to the water connector located at the back right-hand corner of the SST unit. Add distilled water.
Put in filte
Unscrew the screws and remove the top plate,Take away the reflector.
Put in filter.
Install the xenon lamp
Install the xenon lamp and connect the lamp cabler.Replace the top cover and tighten the set screws.
Mount the sample
Mount the sample on the sample clamp.
BPT Sampling
Place the sample into the test chamber and close the door.Be careful to avoid covering the BPT sensor.
